haha....yeah man! i knew it! MY DAVID vs lil david (or rather, mama's david!)....:) overall, i thought TOP3 was a so-so show unfortunately...i agreed with the judges like 95% of the time...

• they all had a so-so 2nd song
• i didnt think syesha did good enough to carry her through

home alone?

no...this isn't a rant about the movie...
wht it really is, is sort of a realisation for me...call it an epiphany of sorts....

see, wht i've come to realise is tht im now ready to step out on my own...
NO...no worries...im NOT coming out of the closet or anything like tht...
i've come to a point where im cmpltly confident tht i can move out and live in an apartment on my own! - on my own, without housemates and the likes...

so..wht brought this on? i mean, i've always lived with ppl - at home my whole life, in International House last yr, with 4 other girls this yr - and dont get me wrong...i LOVED living at home! i mean...its definately the best being with family and there in tmn tun....if i could, i'd definately move back home...as for living in IH, tht wasnt all bad - had a great msian cohort there with me....

bt having had this current flat pretty much to myself over the last 6wks or so...i've found tht since i cant be at home, the next best thing here, would be to move out on my own! =)
its brilliant! esp since i do have my quirks and i can be pretty anal about certain things at times...so wht better a solution than to get a whole place to myself!

yup...ive made up my mind...OK, granted, living alone wont be as cheap as having housemates - for the obvious division of hsehold expenditures off course! - and it might get lonely at times...bt im convince tht i'll be sweet! =) bt hey, this way i can control my spending power to only the things i want....not wht the majority wants....=)

so...the big question is...WHEN??...definately not this yr...im not gonna trouble myself with moving while ive got my major final exams in november....so when then? nxt yr? given tht if i do (GOD willing) pass this yr and i have my electives in the 1st quarter nxt yr, i'll only be back in march...so i could find another place to rent?...BUT, given tht unlike the local students, we dont get a grant nxt yr, and therefore - no income....so i guess tht leaves till the yr after? yeah...makes more sense i think - move only when i knw where i'll be for my house-officer yr..

yup...we'll juz wait and see i guess....till then - its juz surviving patiently in a hse full of girls...=)

david c - im sooo stoked tht my dear david is still here! and im sooo hoping he'll stay there till the end! he was brilliant as usual...i mean, this is after all, his forte...tho i did agree tht his 2nd song was more his style and was lightyears better than the 1st song....=) i really hope he does NOT follow in the steps of previous top4 idols who were fore-runners in their own rights - tamyra gray & chris daughtry - and face his exit this wk....i'd be in mourning!....

david a - as usual again...brilliant! granted - rock&roll hall of fame isnt his main sound..bt he did a good job...i was obviously peeved tht he did a song form the King - cos i mean, thts easily butchered! sooo...putting my own feelings aside....i can objectively say, tho he may be nowhere close to elvis the Pelvis, david did do good job with "love me tender"...

syesha - well....she was good...not great...bt good....haha...maybe im biased here...

jason - damn! he was such a stoner! too bad he stuffed-up BIG time this week...its too crucial a time to not knw ur words...bt he did....this mite very well be his undoing...and unless girls everywhere votes for him 10x over, i think he better heed simon's advice - and pack your suitcase!

the 1st attraction was without a doubt, mr david boreanaz....=)
i soon realise tht it was highly amusing! i really love this show!from the genius bt socially inept zach, to the kind angela and the crazy conspirationist hodgins...
and lets not forget bones herself! i mean, after watching her, im quite sure she's got asperger's syndrome!
oh, and the chemistry btwn bones & booth - definately worth watching! =)

-how i met your mother-

this is such an under-rated sitcom!
it's definately witty and smart! and defiantely LEGEND-wait for it-DARY!barney nvr fails to up how crass he can be..and lily - haha...outrageous! wht a departure from her willow character from buffy...

definately highly amusing and brilliant! =)


-csi: ny-

now this is my favourite out of all the csi franchises! haha....
aside from the obvious eye-candies tht are det. don flack and csi danny messer, there's tht brilliant specs tht the coroner wears! haha...i sooo want one!
oh, and yeah....this is also the csi with the most gore...in my opinion....=)

-ugly betty-

ok, i nvr watched the telenovela version of this...i mean, how could i - it was a bloody telenovela!
anyways, now tht its an english series - i love it!
its sooo funny - esp when u put tht outrageously campy marc with the attention-seeking amanda! - seriously, they're a riot!

definately daniel meade is hot! bt putting him aside for juz a moment - the show is a definate must watch! it is definately amusing seeing the very "normal' and down-to-earth betty amongst all the fakes and plastics tht is the fashion world!

-the tudors-

well 3 words - jonathan rhys meyers - 'nuff said!

haha...yeah...the yummy irishman aside...it really gives a whole look at the whole drama tht is henry VII's reign and the seperation of england from rome and the beginning of the church of england!

i mean, talk abt a horny, egoistical king! sheesh....
and the show...yeah....history aside, its a bloody sex-romp!

another really witty and smart drama!

u've got sally fields! thts a great enough reason to watch! bt the whole cast together, definately a believable family, with lotsa typical family drama and the obvious, biggest skeleton of them all...

definately a must-watch! if not for the very smart and witty dialogue, then definately for my favourite brother - the yummy justin - played by dave annable....=)

the same 2 words ive said before - adrian grenier....=)

its juz a brilliant show! it is after all, brought to us by hbo...and personally, thts enough of a selling point for the show!
the chemistry btwn the boys is juz awesome!

and lets not forget my favourite character, the outrageous and incredibly vulgar - ari gold - played to perfection by the hillarious jeremy piven....he definately brings swearing to a whole new lvl - my idol!....hahah....its got amazing lines and without a doubt, another must-watch! =)

a murderous monster with a heart?....hmm...how could u NOT love dexter! the whole idea - brought to us in his novels by jeff lindsay - created this serial killer we all juz hate to love...

dexter morgan is brilliant! - 'nuff said...and along with entourage, i highly recommend this series...=)

and ed harris - really good...esp tht one scene outside the hospital...

it was such a gut-wrenching story! to me, it definately created a blur between right and wrong...talk abt moral conflicts! even towards the end, i myself was wondering wht i wouldve done...

kudos to all invoved! ben affleck finally made a great career decision - to stay behind the camera rather than in front...

juz another guilty pleasure....

a typical, predictable chick-flick...thts all i can say....=)
